Colonial Secretary’s Office,

HIS EXCELLENCY the Governor-in-Chief has been pleased to appoint the following Native Chiefs,

Reihana, of Parewanui, Rangitikei,

and

Kawana te Hakeke, of Te Awahou,

Rangitikei,

to be Assessors for that locality, under the Resident Magistrates Ordinance, No. 16, of Session VII.

CUSTOMS SALE.

THE following Goods will be sold by Public Auction at the respective Bonding Warehouses on Saturday the 3rd day of July 1852, at 12 o’clock at Noon, for Duty and Warehouse Rent (under No. 3 of 4th Victoria, cap. 48,)

unless cleared for Home Consumption or Exportation previous to the above date.
