HIS EXCELLENCY the Governor-in-Chief has been pleased to appoint

ANDREW RICHMOND, Esquire,

to be Assistant Private Secretary to His Excellency, vice George Sisson Cooper, Esquire, appointed Inspector of Police at New Plymouth.

The appointment to bear date the 1st instant.

HIS EXCELLENCY the Governor-in-Chief has been pleased to appoint

JOSIAH FLIGHT, Esquire,

to be Resident Magistrate and Sub-Treasurer at New Plymouth, vice Captain Henry King, R.N., resigned.

The appointments to take effect from the date of Mr. Flight’s relieving Captain King.
