I, James Campbell, a Commissioner duly appointed to hear and decide Claims to Land by persons claiming Title thereto from, through, or under the New Zealand Company, Do hereby decide that the Persons whose names are hereunder written, and whose Claims have been referred to me by His Excellency the Governor-in-Chief, are duly entitled to Crown Grants for land the particulars whereof are set opposite their respective names.

Akaroa. 1 1 James Bruce. Entitled to a Crown Grant of a piece of Land in the Town of Akaroa 53 feet Frontage by 80 feet back, the boundaries whereof will be particularly defined by the Commissioner.
" 2 2 Jean Pierre Eteveneaux Entitled to a Crown Grant of 7Β½ Acres at Akaroa, the boundaries whereof will be particularly defined by the Commissioner.
" 3 3 Pierre Benoit. Entitled to a Crown Grant of 8 Acres in Akaroa, the boundaries whereof will be particularly defined by the Commissioner.
" 4 4 Francois Melmanche. Entitled to a Crown Grant of 5 Acres in the Town of Akaroa. Also of one acre in the said Town, and one acre in the Bay of Akaroa, the boundaries whereof will be particularly defined by the Commissioner.
