itude 115 degrees 31 minutes 13 seconds East from Greenwich, and stands 3 miles North 75 degrees East by compass from the West extremity of the Island, and 24 miles West by compass from its East extremity.
Lighthouse at Entrance to Swan River.
On and after the 1st of June, 1851, a plain continuous light will be exhibited on summit of Arthur's Head, the South point of entrance to Swan River, between sunset and sunrise, for the convenience of shipping making for the anchorage in the night.
The light will be 32 feet above high water level, supported by a white stone tower erected on summit of a cliff, and will be visible 5 leagues at sea in clear weather from a height of 18 feet.
It is in latitude 32 degrees 3 minutes 13 seconds South, longitude 115 degrees 45 minutes 11 seconds East from Greenwich, and bears South 71 degrees East 12 miles from the revolving light on Rottnest Island.
