TENDERS in duplicate will be received at this Office until the 4th June next, from persons desirous of purchasing
From 30,000 to 40,000 Bricks,
now lying in the enclosure in which the Colonial Hospital stood on Thorndon Flat.
Tenders to be endorsed “Tenders for purchasing Bricks.”

NOTICE.
WHEREAS, numerous complaints have been made at this Court of damage done to Gardens and other Enclosures, by Cattle wandering at large: This is to give notice, that the police are instructed to inform against any person, whose cattle shall, from and after the first day of June next, be found wandering at large in any street, or public place within the limits of the Town of Wellington.
By the Cattle Trespass Ordinance, Session 7, No. 17, the Owner of any horned or neat cattle, Horses, Mules, Asses, Sheep, Goats, and Swine, is liable to forfeit any sum, not exceeding five shillings, for every head of such cattle found wandering at large in any street, or public place within the limits of any Town, or Village which shall be proclaimed, by His Excellency the Governor, to come within the operation of this Ordinance. Dated at the Resident Magistrates Court, Wellington, this sixteenth day of May, 1850.
