IN REFERENCE to a Notice which appeared in the Government Gazette, of the 29th November last, calling for Tenders for certain Services on the Wairarapa line of Road,
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the time for receiving Tenders for the following portions of the road, has been extended to Thursday the 12th Instant inclusive :β
For the partial widening and metalling of the Road between the 1st Gorge and No. 1 Line in the Upper Valley of the Hutt.
ALSOβ
For the formation of a good Bridle Road, at per mile, from a point about a mile beyond the Pakuratahi River over the Rimutaka Range into the Wairarapa, along the new line for the Road.

THE HEADS of the several religious denominations in this Province named in Ordinance of Council No. 10, of Session 8, are hereby requested to transmit to this office, on or before the 1st March, 1851, Returns in the following Forms, of all Schools for Aboriginal Natives established, or proposed to be established, under their superintendence in the Province of New Munster.
These Returns are required in order that any sum which may be recommended to be appropriated by the Executive Council of this Province, under the "Education Ordinance," for the benefit of Aboriginal Natives and Half-Castes only, may be equitably apportioned by the Council amongst the heads of the several denominations referred to in the Ordinance.
No Sunday Schools, or Teachers of Sunday Schools only, should be included in the Returns.
