A. This includes £200, being arrears of Salary to Lieutenant-Governor and Private Secretary.
B. The expense incurred in reprinting the Ordinances of New Zealand under the authority of the Legislative Council, is contained in this amount.
C. The payments made for iron chest and construction of a strong room contained in this.
D. This comprises the sum of £115 3s. 5d. expended in the repairs of Government House during the first half-year of 1849, but which was not brought to account until this quarter.
E. The balance of the amount voted by the Legislative Council for the repairs and alterations of the Building occupied as Public Offices.
