HIS EXCELLENCY the Lieutenant Governor has been pleased to direct it to be notified that the following gentlemen have obligingly consented to form a Committee for making the necessary arrangements to carry out the objects proposed in the Notice dated 29th June last, inserted in the New Munster Government Gazette of the 8th July, 1850, in reference to forwarding Specimens of the natural or industrial products of this Province to the Grand Exhibition of Arts and Manufactures expected to take place, under the auspices of H.R.H. Prince Albert, in London about July, 1851:

- William Fox, Esquire.
- Henry St. Hill, Esquire.
- John Johnston, Esquire.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that a Pound has been erected at Pauatahanui; and that, in conformity with the Impounding Ordinance, 11th Vic. Sess. 8, No. 6, His Excellency the Lieutenant-Governor has been pleased to appoint the same to be a Public Pound for the purposes of the said Ordinance.
Notice is further given, that Mr. Edward Bolton has been appointed to the charge thereof.

HIS EXCELLENCY the Lieutenant Governor has been pleased to appoint Donald McLean, Esquire, to be a Resident Magistrate for the Province of New Munster. The appointment to take effect from this date.

TENDERS will be received at this Office on or before the 30th Inst., from persons willing to supply the Government with an Iron Safe. The dimensions of the Safe should be given. Tenders to be in Duplicate, Sealed and Endorsed, “Tenders For Iron Safe.”
