POSTAL NOTICES.

THE following alterations will take place in the Postal arrangements:

From the 1st April...

A Mail will leave Auckland for the Thames every Tuesday and Friday at 8 a.m., arriving same day at 4 p.m.

A Mail will leave the Thames for Auckland every Monday and Thursday at 9 a.m., arriving same day at 5 p.m.

CUSTOMS NOTICES.

THE following goods have been seized for breach of the Customs Laws, and will be sold by Public Auction at the Custom House, Auckland, on Wednesday the 17th March instant, unless the duties and penalties be previously paid:

20 cases Brandy
50 casks Wine
10 bales Cotton Goods

MARRIAGE NOTICES.

I HEREBY give notice that a License or Certificate for the Marriage of myself, William Henry Smith, Bachelor, and Mary Ann Johnson, Spinster, both of Auckland, has been issued from this office.

DEATH NOTICES.

IT is with deep regret that we announce the death of His Honor Mr. Justice Chapman, which took place at his residence in Auckland, on the morning of the 4th instant.

Died at Wellington, on the 2nd instant, Mrs. Elizabeth Thompson, relict of the late Thomas Thompson, Esq., aged 72 years.
