d Ko Matene Ngatiaua Te Aro 35 Male Rheumatic fever, with bronchitis Jan. 31 Feb. 12 This man is still in hospital, and is likely to be for a long time: it is a bad case.
e William Signal Ngatiawa Karori 51 Male Ulceration of left heel bone Feb. 5 March 16 This man left the Hospital without my consent, to look after his home; he was brought to the Hospital in a great state of debility; he could not walk; when he left he was able to walk well, and was much improved in health. The abscess, however, had not quite disappeared, owing to his leaving before he got permission.
f Ko Paratene Ngatiawa Waikanae 32 Male Chronic diffused abscess of left thigh Feb. 2 .. 13 relieved
g John Instance Ngatitoa Racehorse Point 30 Male Consumption of the bones Feb. 12 April 29 This native was brought from Waikanae: case too far gone to admit of cure since dead.
h Ihaka Ngatiaua Porirua 25 Male Rheumatic inflammation of covering March 6 Still in hospital
i Charles Wilkinson River Hutt 37 Male Chronic inflammation of both eyes, loss of light and eversion of lids March 12 June 5
j Mary Wyburn Wanganui 29 Female Deep seated inflammation of the whole of left hand, with abscess March 26 This was a very bad case; was cured when he left, and well able to walk.
k Robert Parks Wellington 29 Male Chronic erysipelas March 27 April 11 This native could not see the ground or any object when he came in, which many people observed; he can now see vessels sailing out of the harbour and can discern minute objects.

Henry Wilson Governmt. Brig 32 Male Severe scald of left elbow and arm April 25 May 31 This case has been already reported on.
n Shaderick Parker River Hutt 10 Male Ulceration of right tibia April 25 Still in hospital This was left, as he wished to get to Sydney: of course there was not time to do anything for him.
o Frederick Bligh Wellington 16 Male Inflammation of membranes of brain April 25 June 5 This was a very bad case of rheumatism, the heart being affected; is now cured, and will soon leave.
p John Eastman, A.P. Wellington 23 Male Rheumatism (chronic) June 13 This boy was almost a cripple for about eleven months, from disease of the bone; he is now cured: his friends had little hope of his recovery without the loss of the leg.

t George Burns Ngatiraukaua River Hutt 31 Male Extensive burn of left leg and thigh May 27 This was omitted to be put down in its proper place, namely, in February.
u Manihera Ngatiaua Otaki 27 Male Inflammation of foot June 5 June 23 This was a severe case of rheumatism.
Thos. Duncan, A.P. Pitoni 30 Male Inflammation of the air tubes of lungs June 5 Still in hospital This proceeded from rheumatism.
Jos. Saunders, A.P. Wellington 23 Male Inflammation of the air tubes of lungs June 24 Still in hospital Ten days after the receipt of burn he applied; was then delirious; despaired of when admitted.
Apera Wanganui 37 Male Irritation of membranes of brain June 19 June 29 This is a man of considerable consequence.
