JAMES RYAN V. ALPHONSE JECKLIN.

WRIT OF FI. FA.

WHEREAS by Crown Grant, dated 23rd day of November, 1871, the above-named Defendant, Alphonse Jecklin, is owner of an estate in fee simple in all that parcel of Land in the Province of Nelson, in New Zealand, containing by admeasurement 50 acres, be the same more or less, situated in the district of the Buller, being Section numbered 95 on Square numbered 138 on the Plan of the Province of Nelson, bounded on the north-eastward by Crown land (3610 links); on the south-eastward by Section numbered 96 on the said Square (1118 links); on the south-westward by the river Buller; and on the north-westward by a stream flowing into the Buller, excepting the public road passing through the said Section: And whereas, I, the undersigned, Sheriff of the district of Westland North, in the Colony of New Zealand, have taken in execution, and levied upon the real Estate of the said Alphonse Jecklin, the defendant in the above action, wherein James Ryan is plaintiff, and by virtue of a Writ of Fieri Facias issued out of the above-mentioned Supreme Court of New Zealand, in the said action, in pursuance of "The Execution of Judgments against Real Estate Act, 1867," for the sum of One hundred and forty-nine pounds eleven shillings and three pence, together with interest upon the said sum at the rate of Eight pounds for every One hundred pounds by the year from the 17th day of November, 1875, besides Sheriff's Poundage, Officers Fees, and all other incidental expenses and costs: Now, I hereby give notice, that it is my intention to cause the said piece of land to be Sold by Public Auction at the Court-house, in the town of Westport, in the said Province, on the 20th day of May, 1876, at noon, unless the above-named debt and costs be sooner paid.

And I do also hereby give notice, that Albert Pitt, of the City of Nelson, Solicitor, is the Solicitor for the above-named Plaintiff herein, the execution creditor.

Given under the authority of me, the undersigned Charles Broad, Esquire, Sheriff of the District of Westland North, in New Zealand, this 15th day of February, 1876.
