Goldfields Secretary of the Province of Nelson, the appointment to date from the 22nd of January last.

JOHN HUGHAN
has been elected a member of the Lyell Local Revenues Board, in the place of Robert Cairns, disqualified for non-attendance.

Lease No. 86 R., dated 1st January 1874, to JOHN CARROLL and others. Area, 10 acres, 1 rood, and 25 perches. Lyell District.

THOMAS BOYES
has been temporarily appointed Police Constable for the Riwaka district, to be stationed at Motueka.

IT is hereby notified for general information that the Superintendent has granted a Special Claim to John Guthrie and others, of the block of land hereinafter described, viz.:β€”

A block of land, situate on the Pakihi, about two miles Northwest from the township of Addison's, containing twenty-seven acres, two roods, and twenty-two perches, more or less.
