Mr CHARLES BUCKLEY, of Coal Creek,
has been elected a member of the Cobden Local
Revenues Board, under the provisions of "The
Goldfields Local Revenues Act, 1873," vice Mr
George Jackson, junior, who has ceased to be a
member of the Board.

THE SUPERINTENDENT directs it to be notified that
it is intended, after the expiration of two months
from the date hereof, to grant a Lease for Gold-min-
ing purposes of the Crown Lands within the district
of the Nelson Southwest Goldfields, hereinafter
described, viz.:—
CHARLESTON DISTRICT.
A block of land, containing 5 acres, 1 rood, and
12 perches, more or less, situated at the Back
Lead. Applied for by William Norris, Ed-
ward Phelan, and others. No. 687.
