IN THE DISTRICT COURT FOR THE DISTRICT OF WESTLAND.

In the matter of the Culliford Gold-mining Company (Registered), and of "The Mining Companies Act, 1872," and of the Petition of William Milner and Peter Cooke, both of Nelson, in the Province of Nelson, in New Zealand, Shareholders in the said Company, praying that the said Company may be wound up.

Friday, the Twentieth day of August, One thousand, eight hundred, and seventy-five.

UPON the Petition of WILLIAM MILNER, of Nelson, in the Province of Nelson, in the Colony of New Zealand, Draper, and PETER COOKE, of the same place, Salesman, Shareholders in the above-named Company, on the Twentieth day of August, One thousand eight hundred and seventy-five, presented to me THOMAS SHAILER WESTON, Esquire, Judge of the said Court, and upon hearing Mr James Bickerton Fisher, of counsel for the Petitioners, and upon reading the said Petition, and an Affidavit of the said William Milner and Peter Cooke verifying the same, I do order that the said Company be wound up, under the provisions of the said Act, and I appoint Monday, the Twentieth day of September, One thousand, eight hundred, and seventy-five, at Twelve o\'clock noon, as the day and time for a general meeting of the creditors of the above-named Company, to be held at the Court-house, Westport, and I direct that the winding up proceedings of this Company shall be carried on at Westport, in the Province of Nelson, and I direct that this order be served upon the Company, and that a copy thereof be posted upon the outer door of the Registered Office of the said Company, and that service of this order be (if possible) effected upon the Chairman of Directors and the Manager of the above Company respectively, and I further direct that this order be advertised in the General Government Gazette of the Province of Nelson, and in the Colonist newspaper, published in Nelson, that being the chief town of the Province within which the Company carried on operations.
