NOTICE is hereby given, that in accordance with the provisions of "The Nelson Waste Lands Act, 1874," the undermentioned Crown Lands have been reserved for Public Purposes:β€”

FOR PUBLIC UTILITY.

All that block of Land situated in the District of Maruia, containing six thousand acres, or thereabouts. Bounded on the Northward (52,000 links and 18,800 links), Eastward (8400 links), Southward (20,400 links and 52,000 links), and Westward (8400 links) by Crown Land. The northward boundary commencing at a point about 150 chains from the junction of the River Alfred with the Maruia.

All that block of Land situated in the District of the Matakitaki, containing two hundred acres more or less. Commencing at traverse peg 260 on the River Matakitaki; thence by a line bearing 40 degrees magnetic (15 0 links); thence by a line bearing 130 magnetic (5850 links); thence by a line passing through traverse peg 280 and across the River Matakitaki bearing 220 magnetic (4000 links); thence by a line 310 magnetic (5850 links); and thence by a line crossing the said river to peg 260 bearing 40 magnetic (2500 links), being the point from which this description commences.

All that block of Land situated in the District of Buller containing one hundred acres or thereabouts. Bounded on the Northward by Crown Lands, Eastward by the River Buller, Southward by Husband's and Oxnam's land, and Westward by Jecklyn's land.

All that block of Land situated in the Town of Reefton, containing twelve acres three roods and nineteen perches. Bounded on the Northward (1100 links) by William-street, Eastward (1170 links) by Donovan-street, Southward (1100 links) by Shiel-street, and Westward (1170 links) by Bridge-street.

Also the sections in the Town of Reefton, numbered respectively 167, 168, 169, 804, 805, and 1821.

FOR HOSPITAL PURPOSES.

The sections in the Town of Reefton numbered respectively 144, 145, 146, 147, 148, 149, 150, 293, 294, 295, 296, 297, 298, and 299.

FOR A CEMETERY.

The section numbered 1829 in the Town of Reefton, containing two acres and eight perches.

FOR EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES.

The sections in the Town of Reefton numbered respectively 228, 229, 400, 401, 402, 403, 404, 405, 491, 492, 493, 494, 495, 496, 497,
