PROCLAMATION.

By His Honor OSWALD CURTIS, Superintendent of the Province of Nelson, in the Colony of New Zealand, &c., &c.

BY virtue and in exercise of the power and authority vested in me by "The Superintendent's Deputy Act, 1866," I, OSWALD CURTIS, Superintendent of the Province of Nelson, do hereby appoint

JOHN WALLIS BARNICOAT, of Richmond, Esquire,

to be Deputy Superintendent of the said Province of Nelson, and as my Deputy to do, perform, and exercise all the Acts, powers, and authorities which may by law be performed by such Deputy Superintendent.

Given under my hand, and issued under the Public Seal of the Province, at Nelson, this fifteenth day of July, in the year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred and seventy-five.
