IN accordance with the provisions of "The Nelson Waste Lands Act, 1863," section 9, Notice is hereby given that the undermentioned Crown Lands within the Province of Nelson have been reserved by the Waste Lands Board for public purposes, as follows :β
FOR EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES.
TOWN OF AHAURA.
Sections Nos. 33, 34, 35, 77, 78, 148, 149, 109, 110, 224, 226, and 228.
COBDEN SUBURBAN.
Section No. 150, Five acres.
COAL CREEK.
Section 167, Fifty acres.
AS A SITE FOR PUBLIC LIBRARY, MUSEUM, AND READING ROOM.
Section No. 101, Town of Westport.
AS A RESTING PLACE FOR TRAVELLING STOCK.
A block of land in the district of the Tutaki containing 470 acres, and numbered section 21 on square 174 ; bounded on the Northward 5000 links, partly by Crown Land and partly by land leased to D. McGregor ; on the Eastward 9700 links ; and Westward 12,100 links by Crown Land ; and on the Southward 4900 links, partly by Crown Land and partly by land leased to Mr. O'Laughlin, excepting the Public Road which passes through the said section.
