THE Undersigned hereby give notice that they intend to apply to two or more Justices of the Peace, having jurisdiction within the Province of Nelson, at a sitting to be held on Thursday, the Nineteenth day of November, now next, at the Court-house, Nelson, for an order for stopping up and substituting the undermentioned Roads; and further, that they will cause survey plans of the Roads proposed to be stopped and substituted, together with books of reference and estimates, to be deposited on or before the Twenty-eighth day of September next, with the Clerk to the Magistrates at Nelson, and with Mr. Robert Shallcrass, Inspector of Nelson Police.
SUBURBAN SOUTH.
To stop up a Road commencing 750 links from the North-east corner of Section 1, Suburban South, and proceeding through section 1, and continuing southerly in a straight line between sections 2, 5, and 4 to the road bounding section numbered 12, all of Suburban South, being about 6475 links in length, and one chain in breadth; also, to stop up a portion of a road through the eastern corner of section 12, being about 475 links in length and 50 links in breadth; also, to stop up a portion of a road through section numbered 11, being a continuation of the last-named road through section 12, and being about 4400 links in length, and 50 links in breadth, ending at the southern boundary of the said section numbered 11.
And to substitute a road of an irregular shape through sections 1, 2, 4, and 5, another of an irregular shape in the eastern corner of section 12, and another road commencing at the western boundary of section 11, and ending at the corner fence on the Waimea-road of section part 6, being about 6350 links in length, and one chain in width.
