NOTICE is hereby given that I have Transferred the Protection granted to Walter Abernethy, for a Punt Ferry across the Buller River, at the end of Bentham-street, Westport, and published in the Nelson Government Gazette, No. 16, of the 31st March, 1874, to JOHN HALE.

IT is hereby notified that it is intended, after the expiration of two months from the date hereof, to Grant Leases, for Gold-mining purposes, of the Crown Land within the district of the Nelson South-west Goldfields, hereinafter described, viz :β
BULLER DISTRICT.
A block of land containing Ten acres, more or less, situated at Waite's Pakihis. Applied for by Ferdinand Apitz.

A block of land containing nine acres two roods and fourteen perches, more or less, situated at Try Again Terrace, Nelson Creek. Applied for by Richard Larkins and party.

A block of land containing Ten acres, more or less, situated above the Upper Township, Half-ounce. Applied for by J. M. Ollivier.

A block of land containing Ten acres, more or less, situated at Orwell Creek. Applied for by J. Frolli and party.

A block of land containing Four acres two roods and nineteen perches, more or less, situated at Mosquito Creek, Noble's Gully. Applied for by C. Vincent and party.

A block of land containing Ten acres, more or less, situated at Brandy Jack's. Applied for by O. W. Anderson and party.
