LAND SALE.

Crown Lands Office, Nelson,
November 8, 1873.

NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned Allotments of Land will be put up to Public Auction at the Crown Land's Office, Nelson, on WEDNESDAY, the 10th day of December, 1873, at twelve o'clock, noon.

Ten per cent of the purchase money to be deposited at the sale, and the remainder to be paid within one month, or deposited forfeited.

The Nelson Provincial Council Buildings (depicted) were constructed beginning with the laying of the foundation stone on 26 August 1859, with the first Council meeting held there on 30 April 1861.

The buildings served Nelson for over a century before being demolished on 12 September 1969.
