May 8, 1873.
LICENSES to SHOOT PHEASANTS and QUAIL
will be issued at this office on and after Monday,
the 19th instant.
Any person in bona fide occupation of land not
being Waste Lands of the Crown, or some one person
appointed by him, may shoot Pheasants and Quail on
such land without a License: Provided such land be
within the boundaries proclaimed open for Pheasant
and Quail shooting.

expiration of Two Months from the date hereof,
to grant Leases for Goldmining purposes of the Crown
Lands within the District of the Nelson South-west
Goldfields, hereinafter described, viz.—

A block of land, containing five acres and
twenty-six perches, more or less, situated at
the Lyell. Applied for by WILLIAM GREEN
and others. -
A block of land, containing fifteen acres one
rood and twenty-three perches, more or less,
situated at the Lyell. Applied for by ELIJAH
GREEN and others. -
A block of land, containing sixteen acres and
two roods, more or less, situated at the Lyell.
Applied for by CHRISTIAN RASMUSSER and
others.

Refused to grant a Goldmining Lease applied for
by GEORGE SMYTH and others, of the block of land here-
in after described, viz.—
A block of land, containing nine acres two roods
and twenty-four perches, more or less, situa-
ted at Eight-mile Creek, Lyell District.

ALTERATION OF THE BOUNDARIES OF
THE MOTUPIKO EDUCATION DISTRICT.

THE Boundary of the Motupiko Education District
on the west shall from this date be the watershed
between the valleys of the Motupiko and Tadmor
rivers.

ALTERATION OF THE BOUNDARIES OF
THE RICHMOND AND HOPE EDUCA-
TION DISTRICTS.
Nelson, May 1, 1873.
THE Boundary Line between the Hope and Rich-
mond Education Districts shall from this date be
as follows, viz.,—
From the Appleby bridge along the trunk-road
eastward to its junction with the trunk-road
from Nelson to Waimea South; then south-
ward along the last-named trunk-road twenty-
five chains; then from that point by a line
parallel to the first-named trunk-road to the
end of the district.
