IT is hereby notified that it is intended, after the expiration of two months from the date hereof, to grant leases for goldmining purposes, of the Crown Lands within the district of the Nelson South-west Goldfields hereinafter described, viz :β
LYELL DISTRICT.

A block of land containing sixteen acres and two roods, more or less, situated near English Terrace, about two miles from the Lyell Township, applied for by George Zanotti and others, Nonpariel Company.

A block of land containing fourteen acres, one rood, and thirty-one perches, more or less, situated between Irishman's and Brown's Creeks, applied for by J. K. Sloane and others, Oriental Company.

A block of land containing sixteen acres, one rood, and twenty-eight perches, more or less, situated at Irishman's Creek, applied for by Antonio Zala, United Company.

A block of land containing twelve acres, two roods, and thirty perches, more or less, situated at the Alpine Range, applied for by John Campbell and others, Lyell Quartz-mining Company.
