Superintendent's Office, Nelson,
June 11, 1872.

IT is hereby notified that it is intended after the
expiration of two months from the date hereof,
to grant a Gold-mining Lease of the block of land at
the Collingwood District hereinafter described, viz.:β€”

A block of land containing one acre, three roods,
and thirty-four perches more or less, situated
at Waikaramumu, applied for by Douglas
Macarthur and others.

IT is hereby notified that it is intended after the
expiration of two months from the date hereof,
to grant Gold-mining Leases of the blocks of land in
the Nelson South-west Gold-fields, hereinafter described,
viz.:β€”

  1. A block of land containing five acres more or
    less, situated at Candlelight Flat, Charleston,
    applied for by William McSparrow and
    Roger Walker.

  2. A block of land containing three acres three
    roods and eight perches more or less, situated
    at Back Lead, Darkie's Terrace, Charleston,
    applied for by John Hurley.

  3. A block of land containing ten acres more or
    less, situated at Woodpecker Terrace, Brigh-
    ton, applied for by Dougald Matheson and
    others.

IT is hereby notified that it is intended after the
expiration of two months from the date hereof,
to grant a SPECIAL CLAIM to John Trennery and 31
others (United Band of Hope Company), of a block of
land situated south of Kelly's Claim, Murray Creek,
Inangahua District, containing eighteen acres, two
roods, and fourteen perches more or less.
