PROCLAMATION.
By his Honor OSWALD CURTIS, Superintendent of the Province of Nelson in the Colony of New Zealand, &c., &c.
I, OSWALD CURTIS, Superintendent of the Province of Nelson, in the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise of the power and authority in me vested in that behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the BUILDING now used as a LOCK-UP situated at Reefton, in the Inangahua district, within the limits of the Nelson South-west Goldfields, shall be deemed and taken to be a PUBLIC GAOL of the Colony of New Zealand.
Given under my hand, and issued under the Public Seal of the Province, at Nelson, this Twenty-third day of April, in the year of our Lord, One thousand eight hundred and seventy-two.
