I, THE Undersigned WILLIAM MCLEAN, hereby make application to register the UNITED BAND OF HOPE COMPANY, REGISTERED, under the provisions of the Mining Companies' Limited Liability Act, 1865; and I do solemnly and sincerely declare that the following statement is, to the best of my belief and knowledge, true in every particular, namely :—

The name and style of the Company is the United Band of Hope Company, Registered.

The place of operations is at Kelly's Line of Reef, Murray Creek, Inangahua, Province of Nelson, Colony of New Zealand.

The nominal capital of the Company is twenty-four thousand pounds sterling, in twenty-four thousand shares of one pound each.

The amount already paid up is twelve thousand pounds, being value of work and labor done, and value of lease, shoot, tramway, &c.

The name of the manager is William McLean.

The Office of the Company is at Murray Creek, aforesaid.
