I, the undersigned, ROBERT PRESTON BAIN, hereby make application to Register "The Doran's Reef Gold-Mining Company (Registered)," under the Provisions of "The Mining Companies' Limited Liability Act, 1865," "The Mining Companies' Limited Liability Act Amendment Act, 1869," and the Mining Companies' Limited Liability Act Amendment Act, 1870;" and I do solemnly and sincerely declare that the following statement is, to the best of my belief and knowledge, true in every particular, namely:—

  1. The name and style of the Company is "The Doran's Reef Gold-Mining Company (Registered)."
  2. The place of operations is at Wangapeka, in the Province of Nelson.
  3. The nominal capital of the Company is Ten thousand pounds, in two thousand shares of five pounds each.
  4. The amount already paid up is One thousand and fifty pounds in cash, and two thousand pounds in paid-up shares given by the Company to the original proprietors.
  5. The name of the Manager is ROBERT PRESTON BAIN.
  6. The office of the Company is at Trafalgar-street, Nelson.
  7. The names and several residences of the shareholders, and the number of the shares held by each at this date, is as follows:—
