THE VOTERS of the District of COLLINGWOOD having neglected to ELECT THREE PERSONS to FILL the VACANCIES in the LOCAL COMMITTEE OF EDUCATION for that District, the SUPERINTENDENT has, in accordance with the Provisions of the 10th Section of "The Education Act, 1868," appointed

NOTICE is hereby given, that the following PROTECTIONS, granted under the 13th Section of "The Goldfields Act, 1866," are CANCELLED, viz :
-
Protection granted on the 21st May, 1867, to WILLIAM COURTNEY, for a Tramway from Brighton to St. Kilda; transferred to RHODY SLATTERY on the 22nd January, 1869.

Protection granted on the 22nd January, 1868, to CHARLES NEES, for a Tramway from Nile Bridge to the Camp Reserve, Charleston.
