NOTICE is hereby given, that the Superintendent has refused to grant a Gold-mining Lease, applied for by H. P. Washburne and others, for the block of land hereinafter described, viz.β€”

A block of land, containing six acres, more or less, situated at Richmond Hill, Collingwood.

NOTICE is hereby given, that the undermentioned Allotments of Land will be put up to Public Auction at the Crown Lands Office, Nelson, on SATURDAY, the 4th day of February next, at Twelve o'clock noon.

Ten per cent of the purchase money to be deposited at the sale, and the remainder to be paid within one month, or deposit forfeited.
