I, THE undersigned, HERBERT EVELYN CURTIS, hereby make application to register the "PERSEVERANCE MINING COMPANY (REGISTERED)," under the provisions of the "Mining Companies Limited Liability Act, 1865," and the "Mining Companies Limited Liability Act Amendment Act, 1869;" I do solemnly and sincerely declare that the following statement is, to the best of my belief and knowledge, true in every particular, namely—

  1. The name and style of the Company is "Perseverance Mining Company (Registered)."

  2. The place of operation is Bedstead Gully, Collingwood.

  3. The nominal capital of the Company is Twenty Thousand Pounds, in 4000 shares of £5 each.

  4. The amount already paid up is Three Thousand Four Hundred and Forty-four Pounds Ten Shillings in cash, and Eight Thousand Four Hundred Pounds in paid-up shares.

  5. The name in full of the Manager is Herbert Evelyn Curtis.

  6. The office of the Company is at Bridge-street, Nelson.

  7. The names and several residences of the shareholders, and the number of shares held by each at this date, are as follows:—
