10th June, 1870.
IT is hereby notified that it is intended, after the expiration of two months from the date hereof, to grant Leases for goldmining purposes of the Crown Land within the district of the Nelson South-west Goldfields hereinafter described, viz.—

A block of land containing four acres, more or less, situated at White Horse Terrace, near Brighton. Applied for by Michael Smith & Co., (Morning Star Company.)

A block of land containing three acres, two roods, and twelve perches, more or less, situated at Welshman's Terrace, near Brighton. Applied for by Hugh Curran and others (Golden Point Company.)

A block of land containing three acres, more or less, situated at Welshman's Terrace, near Brighton. Applied for by John Delahunty and others.

A block of land containing three acres, two roods, and twenty-six perches, more or less, situated at Back Lead, Charleston. Applied for by James Hunter and others.

A block of land containing seven acres, more or less, situated on the North side of the River Nile, Charleston. Applied for by George Brown.

A block of land, containing seven acres, three roods, and twelve perches, more or less, situated at Waite's Pakihi, Buller district. Applied for by Henry Fahey and others (Golden Age Company).

A block of land, containing four acres, more or less, situated at Waite's Pakihi, Buller district. Applied for by John Robinson and others.

I, THE undersigned WILLIAM PITT, of Westport, in the Province of Nelson, in New Zealand, Solicitor, hereby make application to register "THE ENTERPRISE QUARTZMINING COMPANY, REGISTERED," under the provisions of "The Mining Companies Limited Liability Act, 1865;" and I do solemnly and sincerely declare that the following statement is, to the best of my knowledge and belief, true in every particular, namely—

The name and style of the Company is "The Enterprise Quartzmining Company, Registered."

The place of intended operations is on the River Waimangaroa, near Westport aforesaid.

The nominal Capital of the Company is One thousand Pounds, in One Hundred and Sixty Shares of Five Pounds each, in addition to the sum already paid up.

The amount already paid up is Two Hundred Pounds.

The name of the Manager is William Pitt.

The office of the Company is in Molesworth-street, Westport.
