IN THE SUPREME COURT OF NEW ZEALAND, NELSON DISTRICT.

In the matter of "The Bankruptcy Act, 1867," and "The Bankruptcy Act Amendment Act, 1868."

NOTICE is hereby given that RICHARD BECKFORD SCOTT, of the City of Nelson, in the Province of Nelson, in the Colony of New Zealand, Shipwright, has this day filed in the office of the Registrar of the Supreme Court, a declaration that he is unable to meet his engagements with his Creditors.

Dated this 30th day of January, 1869.

The Nelson Provincial Council Buildings (depicted) were constructed beginning with the laying of the foundation stone on 26 August 1859, with the first Council meeting held there on 30 April 1861.

The buildings served Nelson for over a century before being demolished on 12 September 1969.
