Nelson, 14th October, 1869.
THE SUPERINTENDENT directs it to be notified that in accordance with the provisions of Section 9, of the "Education Act, 1863," he has appointed SATURDAY, the 23rd day of October, instant, at twelve o'clock noon, for the election of two persons to fill the vacancies in the Local Committee of Education for the district of Hope, and that the election shall be held at the school-house, Ranzau.
