Nelson, 11th October, 1869.

IT is hereby notified that it is intended, after the expiration of two months from the date hereof, to grant Leases for Gold-mining purposes of the Crown Land within the District of the Nelson South West Goldfields, hereinafter described, viz:β€”

  1. A Block of Land, containing two acres, one rood and ten perches, more or less, situated at Candlelight Flat, near Charleston, applied for by ALEXANDER PETERS and others.

  2. A Block of Land, containing nine acres and fourteen perches, more or less, situated on a Terrace, south of Brighton, applied for by THEOPHILUS MABILLE.

  3. A Block of Land, containing three acres and twenty-seven perches, more or less, situated on Candlelight Flat, near Charleston, applied for by RICHARD GREEN.

  1. A Block of Land containing six acres two roods and eight perches, more or less, situated at Shamrock Lead, Addison's Flat, Buller District, applied for by JOHN M'LEAN, (Thistle Gold-mining Company).

  2. A Block of Land containing six acres three roods and twenty perches, more or less, situated at Shamrock Lead, Addison's Flat, Buller District, applied for by WILLIAM RODGERS, (Britania Mining Company).

NOTICE is hereby given, that Public Roads have been laid out through Sections No. 57 and 58, on Square 1, on the plan of the Province of Nelson, and Sections No. 34, 39, 40, and 41, on Square 7, on the plan of the said Province, in accordance with the right reserved in the Crown Grants of the said Sec-
