ALTERATION OF ROADS.

THE Undersigned hereby give notice that they intend to apply to Two or more Justices of the Peace, at a Sitting to be held on TUESDAY, April 27th, 1869, at the Court-House, Nelson, for an order for STOPPING UP, and DIVERTING, AND MAKING the undermentioned ROADS: And further, that they have caused survey plans of the several Roads proposed to be Stopped up, Substituted, and Made, together with the Books of Reference, and Estimates to be deposited with the CLERK OF THE MAGISTRATES, at Nelson, and at the POLICE-OFFICE, Nelson, viz:—

To stop up part of a road in the City of Nelson, being part of a road leading through Sections 18 and 19, on the plan of the said City, and which is shown by the pink color on the plan attached to this application, from the Section marked A on plan to the Section numbered 17 on plan.

To stop up a footpath, which is shown by the pink color on the plan attached to this application, running through the Section marked A, and beginning and ending at the roads proposed to be substituted.

To stop up a footpath, also colored pink, on the plan attached to application, commencing from the Section marked A, and ending at Britannia Heights.

And to substitute in the place thereof, certain other roads 30 feet in width, and which are shown by brown color on the plan attached to this application, viz:—

The portion of road crossing Section A, 19 and 18, on the said plan, commencing at Wakefield Quay, and terminating at Section 17; also, a certain other portion of road crossing Sections 18 and 19, commencing at Section 17, and terminating at the proposed new road in Section 19.

And also a certain other road crossing Sections marked B, 19, and A, 22 and 23, on the plan commencing at Section numbered 17, and terminating at Britannia Heights.
