I, THE undersigned THOMAS CONWAY,
hereby make application to register
"The Collingwood Coal Mining Company
(Registered)," under the provisions of "The
Mining Companies Limited Liability Act,
1865," and I do solemnly and sincerely
declare that the following statement is, to
the best of my belief and knowledge, true in
every particular, namely:—

  1. The name and style of the Company is,
    "The Collingwood Coal Mining Com-
    pany (Registered)."
  2. The place of operations is Aorere,
    Collingwood.
  3. The nominal capital of the Company is
    Three Thousand Six Hundred Pounds,
    in Thirty shares of One hundred and
    Twenty Pounds each, fourteen of
    which are working shares, of One
    Hundred and Twenty Pounds each.
  4. The amount already paid up is Four
    Hundred and Sixty-nine Pounds
    sterling.
  5. The name of the Manager is Thomas
    Conway.
  6. The office of the Company is at Col-
    lingwood.
  7. The names and several residences of
    the shareholders, and the number of
    shares held by each at this date are

IN THE SUPREME COURT OF NEW
ZEALAND, NELSON DISTRICT.

IN the matter of "The Bankruptcy Act,
1867," "The Bankruptcy Act Amend-
ment Act, 1868," and in the matter of
JOSEPH DEMPSEY, of Blenheim, in the
Province of Marlborough in New Zea-
land, Saddler.

NOTICE is hereby given, that by an
order under the seal of this honor-
able Court, and under the hand of STEPHEN
LUNN MULLER, Esquire, Deputy Registrar
of this honorable Court at Blenheim, and
bearing date the 28th day of November,
1868, the said JOSEPH DEMPSEY was ad-
judged Bankrupt; and a first meeting of his
Creditors was appointed to be held at the
Council Chambers, Blenheim, on Tuesday,
the 8th day of December, 1868, at the hour
of Eleven of the clock in the forenoon. And
notice is hereby further given that at such
meeting WILLIAM COLLIE, of Blenheim,
aforesaid, Stationer, was chosen to be Trustee
of the Estate of the said JOSEPH DEMPSEY,
and by an order bearing date the 8th
day of December, 1868, under the hand of
the said STEPHEN LUNN MULLER, Deputy
Registrar of this honorable Court at Blen-
heim, and under the seal of this honorable
Court, the choice of the said WILLIAM
COLLIE as such Trustee was confirmed.

Dated this tenth day of December, 1868.
