ing date respectively, the 27th day of December, 1862, and 20th January, 1865, held by the said Samuel Hillier Pike for the Crown Lands hereinafter described, viz. "All that parcel of land in the District of the Grey, in the Province of Nelson, containing seven thousand two hundred and fifty acres, or thereabouts, Bounded on the North-west and North by the River Mawhera or Grey, on the East by a Native Reserve and forest land, and on the South by forest land and the River Ahauara. AND also all that other parcel of land situated in the same district, containing three thousand acres or thereabouts, Bounded on the North, North-east, and South-east by forest, on the South by the River Mawhera or Grey, and on the West by the River Mawhera iti."
Given under my hand and issued under the Public Seal of the Province of Nelson, this Thirty-first day of January, One Thousand Eight Hundred and Sixty-seven.
