I HEREBY certify that THOMAS EDWARD RAWSON has this day produced before me his Diploma as Doctor of Medicine from the University of Aberdeen, and from the Apothecaries\' Hall, London, and has thereby qualified himself as a Medical Practitioner in terms of the Ordinance Session I, No. 2, of the Province of New Munster.

IN THE SUPREME COURT OF NEW ZEALAND, WESTLAND DISTRICT.

In the matter of the "Debtors and Creditors Acts," and in the matter of the estate of James Quincy Walker, of Charleston, in the province of Nelson, New Zealand, Publican, a debtor, and in the matter of the petition of the said debtor:—

NOTICE is hereby given that by an order of his Honor Mr. Justice Clarke, Judge of the Westland District Court at Hokitika, dated the 11th day of July, 1867, the estate of the above-named James Quincy Walker was sequestered, and protection from all legal process for debts, granted to the said James Quincy Walker, upon his petition filed in the Supreme Court at Hokitika, and the hearing of the petition was appointed to take place on Monday, the 23rd day of September, 1867, at the Supreme Court House, Hokitika, in the Westland District aforesaid, at the hour of eleven o\'clock in the forenoon.

I, THE undersigned D.G. MACDONNEL, hereby make application to register the Pakihi Cement Crushing and Gold Mining Company, "Registered" under the provisions of "The Mining Company Limited Liability Act, 1865," and I do solemnly and sincerely declare that the following statement is to the best of my belief and knowledge true in every particular, namely:—

  1. The name and style of the Company is The Pakihi Cement Crushing and Gold Mining Company, "Registered."
  2. The place of operations is at Charleston, in the Province of Nelson.
  3. The nominal capital of the Company is Fifteen hundred pounds, in 1500 shares of one pound each.
  4. The amount already paid up is Six hundred pounds.
  5. The name of the Manager is Denis Gilman MacDonnell.
  6. The office of the Company is at Charleston.
  7. The names and several residences of the shareholders and the number of shares held by each at this date are as follows:—
