across the public road, and along the other western boundaries of sections 215, 244, 243, 242, 241, 240, 233, 238, 237, 236, 235, 234, 232, 231, Motueka, and along the northern boundary of section 1, of block 1, to the north-west anglo of section 2, of block 1, Motueka, and along the north-western boundaries of the last-named section; thence by a line to the south-eastern anglo of section 51, Motueka, and along the southern boundary of the said section, and the western boundaries of sections 41, 42, 43, 44, 45, and 47, to south-western angle of section 47; thence by a line to the north-western angle of section 82, square 3; thence by a line to the eastern angle of 114, square 2, and along the south-eastern boundaries of the said section, the north-eastern boundary of section 113, the south-eastern boundaries of sections 113, 112, and 111, square 2, and the north-eastern boundary of section 111, and north-eastern boundaries of sections 108 and 139; thence by a line to the eastern angle of section 10, Thorpe Suburban; thence along the north-east boundary of same section 10, and the north-eastern boundaries of sections 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, and 1, Thorpe Suburban; thence by the division line between section 83, square G, and 1, Thorpe Suburban, to the banks of the river Dove, and along the banks of the said river to the north-west angle of section 88, square 6, and along the division line between sections 88 and 89; thence by a line to the southern angle of section 103, square 6, and along its southern boundary to the bank of the river Motueka, and along the bank of the said river to the point opposite the mouth of the river Baton; thence by a line due west to the watershed, and by the watershed of the Motueka river to the point from which the description of these boundaries commences.

UPPER MOTUEKA.

By a line dividing sections 103 and 104, square 6; thence by a line to the western angle of section 135; Pigeon Valley, square 2; thence by a line to the northern angles of sections 9 and 12, Wai-iti Hills, square 4, and along the watershed to the north-western angle of section 29, square 2, and the western and southern boundaries of the said section-a half-miles; by a line to the most southern angle of the Waimea district; thence by a line to the south-eastern angle of section 17, square 45, and thence by prolongation of the same line for a distance of five and a half-miles; thence by a line touching the south-western angle of section 22, Rainy River, square 35, and of section 17, Wangapeka, square 5, and prolonged in the same straight line to a point eight and a half-miles due west of the mouth of the river Baton; thence by a line drawn due east through the mouth of the river Baton to the eastern bank of the river Motueka, and along the bank of the said river to a point opposite the dividing line between sections 103 and 104, square 6, being the point from which the description of these boundaries commences.

RIWAKA.

By a line drawn due eastward from a point on the watershed between Tasman Bay and Golden Bay to the northern point of section 36, Torrent Basin, square 10, and along the high-water mark of Tasman Bay to the mouth of the river Motueka, and following the northern bank of the said river to the eastern angle of section 4 of 62, Motueka, and along the north-eastern boundaries of section 4 of 62, and 22, 57, 56, and 63, of square 9; thence due westward to a point on the watershed between Tasman Bay and Golden Bay, and along the said watershed to the point from which these boundaries commence.

The islands at the mouth of the Riwaka river to be included in this district.

TAKAKA.

By the high-water mark of Golden Bay from the mouth of the river Pariwhaka-aho, in section numbered 79, square 13, to Carlyle-street, in the village of Clifton; thence by the top of the spur between the said village and Pohara Bay to the summit of the watershed between Golden Bay and Tasman Bay, and along the summit of said watershed to a point lying east 22 degrees south from Mount Snowdon; thence by a line drawn to the summit of Mount Snowdon; thence by line drawn to the summit of Slate River Peak, and thence by a straight line drawn to the mouth of the river Pariwhaka-aho, whence the description of these boundaries commences.

The islands at the mouths of the rivers Takaka and Motupipi to be included in this district.

COLLINGWOOD.

By a line drawn from the mouth of the river Paturau to the northern angle of section 3, of block 1, square 15, and along the north-eastern boundary of the said section to the banks of the river Aorere; thence in the same direction across the said river and along its southern bank to high-water mark, Golden Bay, and along high-water mark, Golden Bay, to the mouth of the river Pariwhaka-aho, in section 79; thence by a line drawn to the summit of Slate River Peak, and along the watershed to the summit of Mount Snowdon, and along the watershed to Mount Domett; thence by a straight line drawn to Kahurangi Point, and thence by the high-water mark of the Pacific Ocean from Kahurangi Point to the mouth of the Pariwhaka-aho, being the point from whence the description of these boundaries commences.

This district to include the islands in the river Aorere.

AMURI.

By a line from the Top House to the summit of St. Arnaud Mount; thence by line drawn to the summit of Mount Princess; thence by a line drawn to the banks of Lake Sumner, at a point about two miles from the head of the lake, and along the northern bank of the lake to the river Hurunui, and by the northern bank of the river to the sea; thence by the coast line to the mouth of the river Conway, and along the banks of that river to its source; thence by a line to the confluence of the rivers Acheron and Clarence, and along the banks of the Acheron to the confluence of the Guide, and along the banks of the river Guide to Barfells Pass, and thence by a line drawn to the Top House, being the point whence the description of these boundaries commences.
