NOTICE is hereby given, that the following sections of LAND included
in the advertisement for the sale of Crown lands to be held on the 3rd day of
November next, are WITHDRAWN FROM SALE, viz.:—
Sections Nos. 21, 22, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31, 32, 39, 40, 46, 47, 48, 49, 50, 51, 53, and
56, of Milnthorpe Suburban.

The Nelson Provincial Council Buildings (depicted) were constructed beginning with the laying of the foundation stone on 26 August 1859, with the first Council meeting held there on 30 April 1861.

The buildings served Nelson for over a century before being demolished on 12 September 1969.
