The vessel to be inspected twice a year, or whenever the Trustees shall require it, by two surveyors, one to be appointed by the Trustees and one by the Company; and in case of need, a third to be called in as referee.
Should the vessel, machinery, or boilers be injured by neglect, the damage to be assessed by two duly appointed surveyors, and such damage and all expenses connected therewith, to be paid by the Company.
The vessel to be let, subject to all engagements the Trustees have entered into on her behalf.
The lease to be for six years, determinable by the Company at any time on giving three months\' notice.
The rent to be £1,500 per annum, payable quarterly, and in advance.
These terms having been accepted, and a Charter duly executed, the steamer was handed over to the Company on the 15th July last.
Under the "Religious Reserve Fund," there has been only one disbursement—the grant of a sum of Fifty Pounds to the Presbyterian Church at Riwaka.
By order of the Trustees,
H. C. DANIELL,
