IN accordance with the provisions of the Land Regulations of the 14th September, 1864: Notice is hereby given that the following lands are withdrawn from Sale, viz. Sections Nos. 20, 21, 22, 23, and 24, of Square No. 112, (Upper Wai-au).

APPLICATION for DEPASTURAGE LICENSES, in accordance with the Regulations under the Waste Lands Act of 1863, received by the Commissioner of Crown Lands during the Month of OCTOBER, 1864.

THOMAS CARTER—Over all the unoccupied country that may exist within the limits of the boundaries given in the application of Mr. Muntz, in the Clarence District in excess of the quantity applied for by him.
Deposit paid, £15.

DAVID GILBERTSON—District Awaroa.
Bounded on the northward by a line drawn from section 15 to the coast near Totaranui; eastward by the coast-line and a Native Reserve; southward by the line shown by the pink color on the tracing annexed to the application; and westward by sections 2, 11, 1, and 15, and a line drawn between sections 2 and 11.
Estimated extent, 1,000 acres.
Deposit paid, £5.
