All Public Notifications which appear in this Gazette, with any Official Signature thereunto annexed, are to be considered, as Official Communications made to those Persons to whom they may relate, and are to be obeyed accordingly.

THE Waste Land Board directs it to be notified, that the undermentioned Block of Land has been Reserved, under the Provisions of the Regulations for the sale and disposal of the Waste Lands of the Crown in the Province of Nelson.

All the Crown Land situated on the following boundaries: commencing on the North at the mouth of the River Tunipohu, and following that river to its source; thence by a straight line to the source of the River Lyell; thence continuing down that river to its junction with the River Buller; thence down the River Buller to the mouth of the River Inangahua; thence up the Inangahua to the mouth of the River Awarau; thence up that River to its source near Mount Buckland; thence to the source of the River Okari; thence down that River to the Coast; and thence by the Coast line from the Okari to the Tunipohu, being the point from which these boundaries commenced.

STOPPING UP OF ROADS.

NOTICE is hereby given, that APPLICATION is intended to be made by the undersigned to two or more Justices of the Peace having jurisdiction within the Province of Nelson, at a sitting to be held on SATURDAY, the 4th day of October now next, at the Institute, Motueka, for an ORDER for STOPPING UP the undermentioned ROADS: and notice is hereby further given, that the undersigned will cause Survey Plans of the Roads proposed to be stopped up, together with Books of Reference, to be deposited, on or before the 23rd day of August next, with the Senior Magistrate, Motueka, and with Mr. J. BOYES, District Constable of Motueka, Mr. J. FOWLER, District Poundkeeper, of Riwaka, and Mr. H. B. HUDDLESTON, Nelson:β€”

To stop up a certain road in Riwaka Valley, commencing on the west side of a cross-road, running north and south, from the river to the hills, being that portion of road which divides Sections 81, 82, and 83, from Sections 84, 85, 86, and 87, terminating at Section 1 of Block 1.
