IN accordance with the provisions of the Land Regulations of the 15th February, 1860, clause 25, NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned Sections of Land in the District of Takaka have been withdrawn from sale, viz.:—

Nos. 106, 110, 111, 112, 115, 117, 118, 119, 120, 162, 173, 175, 176, 179, 180, 204 a, 206, 207, and 213 of square No. 11 of the Plan of the Province of Nelson.

I, THE UNDERSIGNED BERNARD MACMAHON, of Riwaka in the province of Nelson, Secretary to the Road Board of the Riwaka district, hereby give notice that I intend to apply to two or more Justices of the Peace, having jurisdiction in the said Province, at a meeting to be held on Saturday, 5th day of July now next, at the Institution, Motueka, for an order for stopping up and altering the undermentioned road. And I further give notice that I have caused survey plans of the respective road proposed to be stopped up and the respective road proposed to be substituted for the same, together with the book reference containing the names of the owners, lessees, and occupiers of the lands through which the intended new, road is to pass, to be deposited with the Clerk to the Magistrates, and with Mr. John Boyes, constable, of Motueka.

To stop up a certain Road, from the cross road between sections 1 and 13 Motueka, to the river Motueka, proceeding due south and dividing section numbered 1 from section numbered 2 respectively Rural 1, and parts 1 and 2 of section 61.

And to substitute in the place thereof, a certain other road in the said district, 60 links in width, commencing from the said before-mentioned cross road, and running on the eastern boundary of the section numbered 1; 27 chains thence running into section numbered 2 for 13 chains, and thence on the eastern boundary of the said section numbered 1 to the banks of the Motueka River. Also, all that other road, commencing at a point 15 chains from the said cross road and running due east, being 10 chains long, until it meets the last mentioned road. The roads are more particularly delineated on the plans attached to the notice.
