NOTICE is hereby given, that
Decisions in favor of the undermentioned applicants for Licenses to depasture
Stock have been given, in accordance with
the provisions of the Waste Land Regulations of the 15th February, 1860.
JOHN SHARP, Waiau-ua, 20,000 acres,
THOMAS BRUNNER, ditto, 10,000 acres.
Boundaries not to be definitively settled
until a plan of the run has been sent in, as
required by the Regulations.

APPLICATIONS for DEPASTUR-
AGE LICENSES, in accordance with
the Regulations under the Waste
Lands Act, 1858, received by the Commissioner of Crown Lands during the
Month of DECEMBER, 1861.
EDWARD OWEN—District, The Clarence.
Boundaries—On the south, by the
River Clarence; east, by W.
Atkinson's Run; west by T.
Carter's Run; north, by the top
of the hills running to the Guide.
Estimated extent, 10,000 acres.
Deposit paid, £15.
CHARLES EMPSON—District, The Hanmer
Plain.
Boundaries—On the eastward, by
Mr. Atkinson's western boundary;
on the southward, by the River
Waiau-ua or Dillou, extending
for a distance of say thirty chains
westward along the banks of the
river from the isolated rock at
mouth of stream, to be shown in
plan; on the northward, by Mr.
Atkinson's southern boundary
and by Crown Land; and on the
westward, by Crown Land.
Extent, 2,000 acres.
Deposit paid, £5.
