Boundaries—On the East, by his application of June 11th; South, by the northern boundary of the land applied for by Mr. Poynter, and land contained within the boundaries of his said application; West and North, by the watershed of the Wai-au Valley, or by a line parallel thereto, including 6,000 acres fit for the depasturage of sheep or cattle.
Extent—6,000 acres.

S. Mackley . . District—The Mawhera or Grey.
Being the grass flat known as the Waha-taituna. Bounded on the North by the River Ahaura or Arnot; on the East and South-East, by forestland; on the South and West, by the River Raupiri to its junction with the Ahaura or Arnot.

Being the grass flat on the Pohataroha or Upper Grey, known as the Waipuna Hakopa. Bounded on the North-West, by the River Pohataroha or Upper Grey; and on the South, East, and West, by forest land.
Estimated extent—4,000 acres.

T. R. Hacket . . District—The Clarence.
Boundaries—On the North-East, by a line running North-West and South-East across the junction at the Guide and the Acheron; South-West, by a similar line running across the junction of the Acheron and Clarence; North-West, by the North-West base of the mountain range on that side of the Acheron; South-East, by the North-Eastern base of the mountain range on that side of the Acheron.
Estimated extent—20,000 acres.
Deposit paid—£30.
