feet; Totara, at 20s. per 100 feet.
Alexander M'DONALD—White Pine, at 15s. per
100 feet.
John Currin, junior—Rimu, at 15s. 6d. per 100
feet.

NOTICE is hereby given that, in accordance with the provisions of the Land Regulations now in force, NO SURVEYS of CROWN
LANDS for PURCHASE will be RECEIVED at
this Office, unless an Authority for such Survey has
been previously obtained from the Government.

I, THE undersigned, BENJAMIN OLIVER
HODGSON, of the Town of Nelson, in the
Province of Nelson, Land Agent, hereby give NOTICE
that I intend to APPLY to two or more Justices of
the Peace having jurisdiction in the said province, at
a MEETING to be held on WEDNESDAY, the
Twenty-seventh day of April now next, at the Court
House, Nelson, for an Order for STOPPING-UP and
DIVERTING the undermentioned Road: And I
hereby give further notice that I will, on or before the
Fifteenth day of this present March, cause Survey
Plans respectively of the Road proposed to be stopped
up and of the Road proposed to be substituted for
the same, together with Book of Reference containing the names of the owners, lessees, and occupiers
of the lands through which the new road is intended
to pass, and the estimates of the expense of the respective works, to be deposited with the CLERK to
THE MAGISTRATES, and with Mr. ALEXANDER
WEAGG, of Suburban North, for the District of
Suburban North:—
To stop up part of a certain road in the District of
Suburban North, running through Sections numbered respectively 25, 26, and 27 on the plan of
the district, and known as map numbered 27 on
the plan of the Province of Nelson, commencing
350 links from the eastern angle of Section 25,
and continuing to the division line between Sections 27 and 28 in the same district.
And to substitute in the place thereof a certain
other road in the said district, 75 links in width,
commencing at the same point as the line proposed to be stopped up, and continuing the same
width and in the direction shown on the plan
accompanying the application.
