And to substitute in place thereof a certain other road, 75 links wide, commencing and terminating at points 2 chains north-west, and 2½ chains south-east, respectively, of the ends of the road to be stopped up, and keeping along the edge of the bank through Sections 49 and 50.
Also, to make a certain road in Waimea East, commencing on the south-west side of the trunk line at Appleby, 28½ chains from the east corner of Section 187, and proceeding through the said Section 14 chains in a south-west direction, and 8 chains in a westerly direction, and terminating at a certain other road on the bank of the Waimea river.
Also, to stop up part of a certain road in Bridge Valley, Waimea South, commencing at a point 32 chains south of the commencement of the said road, and proceeding south for 50½ chains through Sections 114, I., II., and waste land of the Crown until it meets a certain other cross-road at the south-corner of Section II. Also, to stop up another part of the same road, commencing on the south side of the cross-road last named, opposite to the end of the road previously named as about to be stopped, and proceeding for 26 chains in a south-south-east and south-south-west direction, through Section 124; thence 15½ chains in a south-south-west direction, through Section 125, and there terminating;
And to substitute a certain other road, 20 feet wide, commencing at the same point as the first-named part of the road as about to be stopped, and terminating at a point 3 chains south-west of the termination of such first-named part, following, as near as may be, the edge of the bank, and passing through Sections 114, I., II., part 2 of No. II., and waste land of the Crown. And also a certain other road, commencing on the south side of the before-named cross-road, at a point 5 chains from the termination of the last-named substituted road, and proceeding 33 chains in a

southerly direction through Sections 124 and 125, and terminating at the same point as the road proposed to be stopped.
Also, to stop up parts of a certain road in Waimea South, commencing at the trunk-line in Eighty-eight Valley, and proceeding in a south-east direction 26 chains along the south-west side of Sections 5 of XIX., and 10 of XX.; also, for 12 chains along the south-west side of Sections 10 of XX., and the north-east side of 12 of XX.; also, for 6½ chains along the same side of 12 of XX., and through Sections 21 and 37, until it meet a certain road in Section 37, and there terminating. The above three portions of a continuous line of road being separated by portions proposed to be retained as parts of the proposed substituted road;
And to substitute for the same a certain other road, 60 links wide, commencing at the trunk-line in Eighty-eight Valley, and proceeding through and along the north side of Section 5 of XIX., 3 chains in a south-east direction; thence 25 chains in a south-south-east direction through 5 of XIX., and 10 of XX., until it meet the road, parts of which it is proposed to stop up. Also, a certain other road, commencing at the north corner of 12 of XX., and proceeding through and along its north-east side for 7 chains, until it meet the road proposed to be stopped up. Also, a certain other road, commencing 1 chain from the termination of the last-named part, and proceeding 25 chains in a south-east direction through Sections 21 and 37, and terminating at the before-named road in 37, at a point 4½ chains from the east boundary of 37.
