APPLICATIONS for DEPASTURAGE LICENSES, in accordance with the Land Regulations of the 1st July, 1856, received by the Commissioner of Crown Lands during the month of February, 1858.
James Mackay, junior.
District—West Wanganui.
Boundaries—On the North, by the Motu Katoa stream and West Wanganui harbour; on the West, by the sea, from the south head of the said harbour to Kaurangi stream; on the South, by the said stream; and on the East, by a line drawn parallel with the coast and harbour, at a distance of one mile.
Estimated extent—15,000 acres.
Deposit paid—£30.

District—The Grey.
Boundaries—On the North, by the river Ahaura; on the West, by the river Grey; on the South, by the river and lake Kotuku-wakaha; and on the East, by the Snowy Ranges.
Estimated extent—140,000 acres.

Croslegh Dampier
District—The Wai-au.
Situated on the rivers Wai-au and Waiau-ua, and westward of the Runs applied for by Mr. Morrison and Mr. Caverhill, on the forks of those rivers; to comprise 5,000 acres in the valley of the south fork, and 15,000 acres in the valley of the north fork; and bounded on the Northward, Southward, and part Westward by the Snowy Ranges.
Estimated extent—20,000 acres.

Any portion of the Hanmer Plain that may be found to remain on the survey being completed after Mr. George Hooper has received the amount he is entitled to.

Bounded, on the East, by Mr. Young's western boundary; Southward and Westward, by the Snowy Ranges; and North by the Waiau-ua, extending up the river as far as will make £20,000 acres.

Boundaries—On the Eastward, by Mr. Ward's western boundary; Northward, by the river Clarence; Southward, by the seaward Kaikoras; and Westward, as far as will make 20,000 acres.

William Atkinson
District—The Clarence.
Bounded, on the Northward, by the inland Kaikoras; Southward, by the river Clarence; Eastward by the river Glo'ster; and Westward, as far as will comprise 20,000 acres.

District of the Upper Motueka, lying westward of the river Motueka, being all the available land on either side of the river Baton, so as to include an acreage not exceeding 10,000 acres.
