PRINTING.
Provincial Secretary's Office,
Nelson, June 14, 1858.
TENDERS will be received at this office,
until noon on MONDAY, the 28th instant, for
PRINTING the Government Gazette, and for
such other printing as may be required for the service
of the Government, during the six calendar months
commencing the first day of July next.
The printing will be divided into the following
portions :—
- The Government Gazettes.
- Bills, Acts, and Estimates.
- Votes and Proceedings, and Daily Notices of
the Provincial Council. - Statistics, and similar returns, chiefly com-
prising figures. - Blank Forms, and other Jobs not included in
the above portions.
Tenders for the first portion to specify a price per
sheet demy 8vo, as well as per sheet of foolscap folio.
Tenders will be received for the whole or any sepa-
rate portion of the above.

HIS Honour the Superintendent, in accord-
ance with the provisions of the "Education
Act, 1856," directs it to be notified, that he has ap-
pointed TUESDAY, the 29th day of June instant,
at Twelve o'clock at noon, for the ELECTION of
LOCAL COMMITTEES, and that the elections for
the several districts shall be held at the following
places, viz.:—
For the district of the Town of Nelson, at the
Court House, Nelson;
For the district of Suburban-north, at the School-
house, Thackwood;
For the district of Suburban-south, at the School-
house, Stoke;
For the district of Waimea-east, at the School-
house, Richmond;
For the district of Waimea-south, at the School-
house, Spring Grove, and the Schoolhouse,
Wakefield;
For the district of Waimea-west, at the School-
house, Waimea-west;
For the district of the Moutere, at the School-
house, Lower Moutere;
For the district of Motueka, at the Schoolhouse,
Motueka;
For the district of Riwaka, at the Schoolhouse,
Riwaka;
For the district of Motupipi, at the Schoolhouse,
Motupipi.

NOTICE is hereby given that the following
places are proclaimed EDUCATIONAL
DISTRICTS, under the "Education Act," Sec-
tion 7.
The District of Collingwood, comprised within a
radius of three miles from the Court House,
Collingwood;
The District of Lower Wairau, embracing that
part of the Wairau District below the Delta
Hills, and from thence to the Sea.
