Further, that the undermentioned gentlemen, according to the provisions of the same Act, have been elected by the several Local Committees to represent such Committees respectively, as the Central Board of Education, viz.:—

Mr. Donald Sinclair, by the Committee of the Town of Nelson;
Mr. Edmund Wastney, by the Committee of Suburban-north;
Mr. John Ward, by the Committee of Suburban-south;
Mr. Barnicoat, by the Committee of Waimea-east.
Dr. Munro, by the Committee of Waimea-west;
Mr. E. Baigent, by the Committee of Upper and Lower Wakefield;
Mr. Joseph Hewetson, by the Committee of Moutere;
Mr. William Andrews, by the Committee of Motueka;
Mr. Maxwell Bury, by the Committee of Riwaka;
Mr. Isaac Hill, by the Committee of Motupipi.

And further, that Mr. Alfred Domett, Provincial Secretary, has been appointed by his Honour the Superintendent to represent the Executive Government at the aforesaid Board.

HIS Honour the Superintendent directs it to be notified for general information that the following gentlemen have been elected under the provisions of the "Country Roads Amendment Act," Session IV., No. 2, to form Boards for carrying out the said Act in the undermentioned Districts respectively:—

SUBURBAN NORTH.
Messrs. Thomas Dodson, W. C. Hodgson, Robert Pollock, James Hodgson, and G. H. Manssen.

SUBURBAN-SOUTH.
Messrs. Hugh Martin, sen., John Ward, Alfred G. Jenkins, Richard Ching, and Thomas Marsden.

WAIMEA-EAST.
Messrs. John Wallis Barnicoat, William M'Rae, Fedor Kelling, William Harkuess, and Jacob Batey.

WAIMEA-WEST.
Messrs. J. Dron, G. Walker, J. Thomas, H. Challies, and M. Newth, senior.

WAIMEA-SOUTH.
Messrs. Thomas Tunnicliffe, senior, William Eves, Isaac Gibbs, George Ratt, senior, and William Ratt.

MOUTERE.
Messrs. Cordt Heinrich Benseman, Walter Funnell, Walter Guy, Joseph Hewetson, and David Frazer.

MOTUEKA.
Messrs. C. Thorpe, Edward Fearon, Thomas Atkins, John Staples, and Charles Parker.

RIWAKA.
Messrs. James Rochfort, Thomas Rowling, Thomas Jacka, William Askew, and David Jennings.

WAIRAU.

And that, in accordance with the provisions of the same Act, his Honour the Superintendent has appointed the following gentlemen to form a Board for the Wairau District, for the purpose aforesaid:—

Messrs. C. Watts, C. Canning, C. Coulter, H. Godfrey, and W. H. Eyes.

NOTICE is hereby given that a decision in favour of the undermentioned applicant for a LICENSE to DEPASTURE STOCK has been given, in accordance with the provisions of the Waste Lands Regulations of the 1st July, 1856:—

GEORGE WILLIAMS, Clarence District, 60,000 acres.

Boundaries not to be definitively settled until a plan of the Run has been sent in, as required by the Regulations.
